What I'm Working Toward

Practical priorities grounded in what the county can actually do.

Hamilton County government can't solve everything — but it can do a lot when it's focused, transparent, and accountable. My priorities are centered on what a County Commissioner directly influences: budget oversight, public safety investment, infrastructure planning, school funding decisions, and countywide service coordination.

Below are the core areas I will focus on and the outcomes I believe District 6 deserves:

Priority 1: Accountability in Spending

  • Clear budget explanations in plain language
  • Strong oversight of major contracts and long-term debt
  • Public tracking of discretionary and department spending outcomes

Goal: Residents should understand where dollars go and why — before votes happen.

Priority 2: Accessibility to County Government

  • Evening-friendly public engagement opportunities
  • A simple public portal for constituent issues and case tracking
  • Regular listening sessions across District 6 neighborhoods

Goal: County government should be reachable for working families, not just insiders.

Priority 3: Transparency by Default

  • Publish clear summaries of agenda items and budget amendments
  • Make county processes easier to follow (not harder)
  • Track progress on major votes and promises

Goal: Trust is built when residents can see the process and the results.

Priority 4: Family Stability & Cost-of-Living Pressures

  • Coordinate with cities and nonprofits on housing instability impacts
  • Support pathways that protect families from sudden displacement
  • Focus on county-controlled levers that reduce pressure where possible

Goal: A strong county is one where families can stay rooted and stable.

Priority 5: Strong Public Schools & Workforce Readiness

  • Protect long-term school facility needs and capital planning
  • Support career and technical education and local workforce pipelines
  • Advocate for efficient spending that improves outcomes

Goal: A good future starts with strong schools and real pathways to local jobs.

These priorities aren't a party platform. They are a governance plan. My goal is to represent District 6 with discipline, transparency, and respect for the people who live here.
